DevOps Consultant with German (Linux & SQL)

Who We Are

The project involves 2nd level technical support and development activities for extremely complex systems implemented in the plants a Bavarian automotive producer. The purpose of the systems is to control the customer’s assembly lines.

What You'll Be Doing

Technical support and maintenance activities for the applications that we are responsible for
Work with the PIC Processes of the customer (Incident, Problem, and Change Management)
Communicate and cooperate with the users and the customer
Active participation in Scrum meetings
Refinement and implementation of the user stories with the on-site and near-shore DevOps team
Requirements' estimation with the development team
Solve the issues and tickets that arise in daily business
Perform problem analysis and documentation, root cause analysis, logs analysis
Find performance issues in time and solving the problems proactively
Installation of regular patches for the applications
Database activities in Oracle: checking the DB Jobs, DB Tunning, Tablespace management, managing the DB Links, DB Indexes etc.
Create and continuously maintain the documentation

What You'll Bring Along

Bachelor’s degree in technical/non-technical field
Minumum 3-5 years of experience within application management and technical support field
Experience with Oracle SQL, Linux or Azure would be nice to have
ITIL certification would represent a plus
Experience in the automotive industry is nice to have
On-call duty is required in this project
Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German
