The Role 

As a Product Manager at Viaplay, you will be responsible for identifying and delivering the most valuable solutions for our customers and business. We seek a strong leader who can collaborate with our engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to tackle any challenge ahead. Together with the team, you will oversee the entire product development cycle, from discovery and ideation to launch, validation, and iteration. While driving new features, you’ll also ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of our current product, delivering high-quality experiences to our users daily.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring user and market expectations and trends to guide Viaplay’s long-term product growth
• Balancing short-term impact with long-term strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Operating in a data-informed product organization, using experimentation and validation to prioritize initiatives
• In charge of efficient and safe delivery of team initiatives with the support of internal functions
  
  

What We’re Looking For 

We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following: 

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner
• A passionate product leader with exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate in large, complex organizations
• Strong ability to align and define goals with stakeholders, creating clarity and fostering team engagement
• Deep understanding of modern product discovery and delivery
• Proven experience leveraging quantitative and qualitative user insights to identify customer needs and validate impact
• A flexible mindset, comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels - aligning roadmaps with stakeholder in different markets
• Thrives in fast-paced, commercial environments, bringing structure, clarity, and direction to teams.
  
  

It’s a bonus if you have: 

• Experience in establishing emerging value streams, driving new business opportunities
• Strong ability to manage and prioritize requests from multiple markets with different needs
• Knowledge of automation to scale services and products
• Experience in driving ARPU-metrics, improving profitability while maintaining great user experience
• Expertise in planning and executing thorough Quality Assurance processes
