QA Analyst (Functional Testing) – Contract

📍 Location: Canada

⏳ Contract Length: Until June 30, 2025 (Potential Extension)

💰 Rate: Up to CA$80 per hour

About the Role:

My client are a leading financial services organization is seeking a QA Analyst to join their team on an urgent contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience performing manual functional testing on digital products and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Execute manual test cases based on pre-existing test scripts.

✔ Identify, log, and track defects in JIRA or DevOps.

✔ Conduct end-to-end functional testing to ensure application quality.

✔ Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members.

✔ Work within an Agile/Scrum environment to support rapid development cycles.

Requirements:

🔹 4+ years of QA experience, preferably in financial services (banking, credit unions, fintech).

🔹 Hands-on experience with manual testing of digital applications.

🔹 Familiarity with JIRA or DevOps for defect tracking.

🔹 Ability to follow and execute pre-defined test scripts effectively.

🔹 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

🔹 Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR).

Nice to Have:

➕ Experience working with LambdaTest.

➕ Knowledge of automation testing (though not required for this role).
