Agile Coach

Location: Pleasanton, CA

Duration: 6-month contract with possibility of extension

Pay Range: $70-95/hr

Must Haves:

• 7-10 years of experience as an Agile Coach
• Experience leading large organizations
• Strong experience in a variety of agile methodologies including implementing scrum and Kanban in several domains.
• Experience and comfortability coaching and interacting with senior leadership to help formulate vision, business cases, roadmaps, and budgeting
• Experience utilizing Agile Management Tools and leading remote teams
• Experience presenting status and showcasing progress of agile teams
• Experience being customer facing and communicating effectively both written and verbally.
• Experience selecting and building teams
• Certified Scrum Master CSM or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification

Plusses:

• Strong experience in creating slideware for Agile Playbooks and accelerators
• Experience administering agile tools including Atlassian suite

An IT consulting company is hiring for a Senior Agile Coach in support of one of their healthcare clients local to Pleasanton, California. In this role, this Agile Coach will oversee agile teams or groups, ensuring their effective operation and success. This individual will deliver training on agile methodologies and lead workshops on various topics. Daily responsibilities include managing complex, multi-disciplinary consulting projects that provide significant value to clients. This Agile Coach will develop insights, prioritize and analyze organizational needs, and drive the growth of intellectual capital and practice resources. Leading a team of consultants and architects, this individual will oversee engagement management and ensure contract compliance. Additionally, this Agile Coach will mentor and coach teams in consulting techniques, facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, and contribute to the creation of RFPs and SOWs. This individual will also work to expand Agile service offerings and be recognized as a thought leader both within the company and in the broader market.
