Role Description:

A market-leading telecommunications organisation is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the Fixed Voice re-architecture project, a critical initiative essential to the organisation's operational goals.

This position requires strategic collaboration with Technology Network Services, relevant vendors, and other internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution and benefit realisation for the business. This role demands a proactive, collaborative approach to ensure delivery excellence in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance project team environment.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Project/Program Management, preferably with direct exposure to the delivery of Fixed Voice networks in a carrier environment or large vendor, or Fixed Network products and services.
• Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects from initiation to business-as-usual transition.
• Project Management Certification
• Experience in telecommunications project environments is essential.
• Experience in managing projects relating to Fixed Networks, Fibre Networks, OSS Systems, IP Networks, and Change Management are highly desirable attributes.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, with strong vendor management skills.
