About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with expertise in writing complex SQL queries and a strong background in Python for data analysis and automation. This role involves deep diving into large datasets, uncovering discrepancies, tracing data lineage, and optimizing automated processes. If you are passionate about data accuracy, query performance, and solving complex data problems, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth data investigations to identify discrepancies and analyze how incorrect data propagates through systems.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
• Trace data lineage from source to target systems to ensure data integrity and completeness.
• Debug, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL-based workflows, stored procedures, and ETL pipelines.
• Leverage Python for data manipulation, automation, and enhancing analytical capabilities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, streamline data processes, and implement robust data governance frameworks.
• Identify lineage gaps, particularly where TMP rules depend on attributes such as country code.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data pipelines, transformations, and business rules.
  
  

Key Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data analysis, data investigation, and root cause analysis.
• Expert-level SQL skills, with experience in writing and optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, and handling large-scale databases.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and statistical analysis.
• Hands-on experience with data lineage mapping and tracing data flows across multiple systems.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, metadata management, and data governance best practices.
• Experience working with automated processes, and transactional data.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data warehousing technologies.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) for reporting and data monitoring.
• Understanding of regulatory data requirements related to transaction monitoring and financial data governance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
