Software Engineer - AI Engineering

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our AI Engineering team. This role is responsible for the productization of AI services, REST APIs, and client-side libraries, ensuring software quality and robust design. You will integrate Large Language Model (LLM) providers, leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques, and interact with various multidisciplinary team members, including Data Engineers and Data Scientists. Your expertise in designing scalable cloud systems will be crucial in building efficient and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and productize AI services and REST APIs, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Implement and manage horizontally scalable systems, with message queues to ensure efficient and reliable data processing.
• Integrate with multiple LLM providers via APIs, and leverage RAG techniques to enhance AI capabilities.
• Work closely with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to integrate AI solutions into our software architecture.
• Ensure software quality through best practices in coding, design, and testing.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues to maintain high reliability and performance standards.
• Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to various stakeholders, including internal teams and management.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on the productization of services and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of designing highly available systems, including load balancing, horizontal scalability, and queuing mechanisms.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for AI and software quality.
