Freelance IT Project Manager

For an insurance customer in Luxembourg, I am searching for a freelance IT Project Managerfor the definition and follow-up of a number of key projects to realize their strategy and make their IT application landscape more efficient.

Responsibilities

• You participate in the successful delivery of a project in all its dimensions (planning, scope, budget, quality, business and ICT architecture alignment, customer satisfaction) with attention to all facets of the organization (processes, organization and employees, data, applications, infrastructure and services) from set-up to completion.
• You keep track of how the project(s) fit(s) into a larger program.
• You translate an approved initiative to a project plan based on the insights in the business processes and wishes and demands of the requestor.
• You inform and guide project members and suppliers.
• You report on the progress of the project and its cost.
• You manage the project based on the guidelines of the PMO methodology and suggest improvements based on your experience.

Profile

• You have excellent organizational and project management skills.
• You have a proven technical background (application development, user management…) and able to challenge the project team in their technical decisions.
• You are result-oriented.
• You are willing to understand and master the content of your projects in order to fully manage and support the project team.
• You are communicative and a true team player.
• Customer centricity is important to you. You speak the language of our business.
• You are hands-on: you truly understand the matter and participate actively in discussions within the project team as well as with the project stakeholders.
• Insurance knowledge is a benefit in the execution of the mission

CONTRACT: Freelance

LOCATION: Luxembourg

ONSITE POLICY: 3-4 days per week

HOURS PER WEEK: 40

LANGAUGES: French & English
