💡 Your Role:

We’re hiring an Android Developer to help evolve a powerful registration platform used in national-scale ID programmes. This isn’t your average mobile dev job - you’ll work on specialised Android apps that run on rugged biometric hardware, supporting both offline and low-connectivity environments.

You’ll take the lead on developing new front-end components, improving the user experience, and optimising performance on the ground.

💡 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Developing robust Android apps tailored to real-world, field-based use
• Working with biometric hardware and device integrations
• Designing new front-end UI elements and implementing clean, testable code
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments
• Collaborating with a senior Android lead and distributed global team

💡 What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years' hands-on Android development experience
• Strong Java (Android SDK) and database experience (SQL on mobile)
• Deep understanding of Android 8+ compatibility
• Comfortable with version control (Git/SVN), CI/CD, and full SDLC
• Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments
• Bonus: Embedded/IoT, French language skills, or experience delivering tech in low-infra settings
