Senior MLOps Engineer – Freelance Contract

Location: Zoeterwoude, Netherlands

Start Date: ASAP | Duration: 6 months (extendable)

We are looking for a Senior MLOps Engineer to develop and maintain a platform for automating the creation, training, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning models. You will work closely with data scientists to streamline ML model operationalization and ensure production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows
Automate model training, deployment, and monitoring
Implement workflow/model management platforms (MLflow, Kubeflow, Kedro, Airflow)
Manage containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Ensure scalability and high availability of ML models in production
Develop technical documentation and provide training

Requirements

8+ years Python development for ML applications
6+ years MLOps and ML productization experience
Strong expertise in workflow/model management tools
Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB)
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Git, BitBucket, Jenkins, Ansible Tower)
Unix Shell scripting and RHEL command usage
Experience with Kubernetes and RedHat OpenShift is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
