One of our companies is currently looking for a Java Developer in Anywhere.

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new game features for an exciting football manager simulation game. You will collaborate closely with designers and other developers to enhance gameplay while maintaining and optimizing server-side game logic. You'll also handle database management, ensure server performance, and ensure the game's scalability, all within a remote-first, flexible working environment.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement new features for the football manager simulation game
• Optimize and maintain server-side game logic to ensure smooth gameplay
• Work with PostgreSQL databases for managing game data and improving performance
• Collaborate with designers and developers to refine gameplay mechanics
• Ensure the performance and scalability of the game server to accommodate growing user bases
  
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Java development (Java 11+)
• Solid experience with SmartFoxServer 2X
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and multithreading
• Experience working with distributed systems
• Familiarity with Hazelcast and Protobuf is a plus
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a remote team
