Head of Business Development - Recovery Digital Assets
My client, based in Zug, is active in the recovery of digital assets worldwide. As the Head of Business Development you will lead the strategic expansion and growth of my client. This key leadership role requires a dynamic, results-driven professional with a deep understanding of the digital asset recovery space and a proven track record in business development. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership abilities, a strong network within the blockchain and crypto community, and a passion for driving revenue through innovative partnerships.
Responsibilities
● Lead the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, including global expansion and client acquisition
● Identify, pursue, and secure strategic partnerships to drive growth and increase market presence
● Build and nurture relationships with cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain networks, legal experts, and industry stakeholders
● Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
● Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company objectives
● Oversee client onboarding and develop long-term relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention
● Collaborate with marketing, product, and legal teams to develop solutions that meet market demands
● Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and partnership agreements
● Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge
● Report to the executive team on business development progress, challenges, and opportunities
● Initiative and coordinate new exploratory initiatives for future revenue growth and value creation
● Train and manage a small team of investigators
● Cross-Functional Collaboration within the affiliated network to align efforts and realize business development opportunities
Required skills and qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
● Proven track record of closing high-impact deals and forming strategic partnerships
● Established network in the digital assets industry
● Strong understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and the crypto ecosystem
● Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
● Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically
● Hand-on mentality with a strong can-do attitude
● Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
● Business acumen: Strong problem-solving skills and resilience
● Hands-on with entrepreneurial spirit and ability to think out of the box
