What You'll Be Doing

Develop and maintain high-quality fullstack software applications, with a strong focus on backend development using.NET (Core, 5, 6, 7, 8, or newer)
Design and implement scalable, high-performance services and databases, ensuring seamless integration between systems
Utilize PostgreSQL for efficient data storage, retrieval, and management
Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes for scalability and reliability
Collaborate closely with frontend developers and other team members to create well-integrated and maintainable solutions
Implement and enhance microservices and RESTful APIs to enable efficient communication between components
Follow Agile methodologies, actively contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and iterative development cycles
Work within a dynamic team of internal and external employees to continuously improve the application architecture and performance
Utilize cloud-based technologies, with a focus on deploying and managing services in modern environments
Contribute to technical documentation, ensuring clarity in system design and development standards

What You'll Bring Along

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or equivalent practical experience
At least 3 years of experience as a .NET developer, with a strong emphasis on backend development and service-oriented architectures
Experience in designing and developing services for enterprise-level applications, particularly in the reinsurance or financial sector
Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including writing complex queries, performance optimization, and database design
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and a strong team-oriented mindset
Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET
Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and deployment best practice
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to optimizing code and system performance
Excellent communication skills in German and English, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders
A strong ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, contributing innovative ideas and solutions
