Job Title: DevOps Lead

Location: Poland (Hybrid 3 days)

Contract: 6 months

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Lead with extensive experience in the banking and payments sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, cloud technologies, automation, and CI/CD pipelines within financial services. This role requires expertise in managing and optimizing DevOps strategies in a high-regulatory banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the implementation of DevOps best practices in banking and payment systems.

Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to streamline deployment processes.

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-leading tools.

Manage cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a focus on security and compliance.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.

Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement necessary optimizations.

Ensure compliance with banking regulations and security protocols in DevOps processes.

Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

✅ Experience: 8+ years in DevOps, including leadership experience.

✅ Banking & Payments: Mandatory – experience in financial services, preferably HSBC or similar Tier 1 banking institutions.

✅ CI/CD & Automation: Expertise in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.

✅ Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

✅ Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

✅ Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

✅ Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with tools like ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.

✅ Security & Compliance: Understanding of banking security frameworks and DevSecOps principles.

✅ Scripting & Programming: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.

✅ Agile & DevOps Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments and implementing DevOps transformations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), or HashiCorp Terraform Associate.

Experience working with banking regulatory compliance frameworks.

Familiarity with payment processing systems and financial transaction protocols.
