As a Machine Learning Engineer We Expect You To

  • Understand business decision problems and engineer quantitative features and indicators to base decisions on;
  • Develop data and feature pipelines using SQL and PySpark;
  • Implement statistical analyses and machine learning algorithms to improve decision outcomes;
  • Maintain ML infrastrucure;
  • Apply AI components to improve our solutions.

Qualifications

In order to excel at Aravita in this role, you need:

  • To be a quick learner, capable of developing new skills and learning new problems at a very fast pace;
  • An exceptional analytical mind, and enjoy solving problems. Thinking on numbers is a natural part of your strategy to solve a problem;
  • To write quality Python code, practice using git and proficiency in SQL;
  • Good statistical intuition backed by solid mathematical knowledge.

You will be considered a senior applicant if you have:

  • Experience writing data pipelines and using PySpark;
  • Experience solving time series forecasting and optimization problems;
  • Deep understanding of how machine learning algorithms work;
  • Experience serving, maintaining and monitoring inference models;
  • Experience designing and developing data and AI products;
