DevOps Engineer -Freelance

We are looking for a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing infrastructure, automating processes, and working closely with development teams to ensure continuous integration, continuous delivery, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integration, testing, and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure and workflows using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve and streamline software delivery processes.
• Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of production systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure system scalability, availability, and disaster recovery strategies are in place.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Implement and manage containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
• Perform security audits and ensure compliance with best practices and security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application performance, reliability, and supportability.
• Maintain proper documentation for infrastructure, configuration management, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in software development and system administration.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services.
• Proficient in using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in automation/configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
• Certifications in relevant tools/platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate, etc.).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
