Agile Coach - London - Hybrid - Contact (until the end of 2025)

My Client is searching for an Agile Coach who can join a dynamic team of six members located in London, Copenhagen, and Billund.

Responsibilities:

  • Support leadership teams, Heads of Product, and key stakeholders in strengthening Agile practices.
  • Foster high-performing product teams that collaborate closely with customers.
  • Drive digital transformation by helping teams adopt an outcome-driven approach to quarterly goals.
  • Guide individuals and teams in embracing transparency, feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to create alignment and foster a unified team.
  • Facilitate retrospectives, mediate conflicts, and establish coaching agreements with measurable goals every three months.
  • Serve as the primary Agile coach for product teams in Copenhagen and Billund, balancing strategic leadership support with hands-on coaching.

Systems That Support Us:

  • Data-driven decision-making to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Functioning as a product team with structured events aligned with our goals.
  • A dedicated book club focused on targeted learning themes.
  • Metrics to measure impact, including return on time invested (1-5 scale for workshops), lead time, cycle time, and throughput.
  • A shared backlog, allowing us to prioritize requests weekly across the organization.

Do you have what it takes?

  • A strategic mentality with the ability to challenge assumptions and dive deep into the "why."
  • Experience working with leadership teams, including Heads of Product and Directors.
  • A pragmatic, data-driven approach, and a solid ability to dig out root causes.
  • Hands-on experience within all Agile Coaching stances and integrity about which of them you need to get better at.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban.
  • Good experience in designing, facilitating, and driving workshops with larger groups and across teams – in both physical, hybrid, and virtual contexts.
  • Familiarity with Jira and an understanding of roadmap challenges in Agile organizations.
  • Superb communication and collaboration skills with a direct, confident style that helps simplify complex topics.
  • Experience working in larger organizations and understanding slower operational processes compared to startups.
  • A proactive approach to fostering alignment, adjusting strategies, and continuously asking the right questions to drive improvement.
  • A positive, energized personality that makes collaboration easy and enjoyable.
