Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our team in Bioggio, Switzerland. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation, with expertise in Ansible, Jenkins, MySQL, GIT, Python, Terraform, Selenium, and Laravel. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our applications by implementing automated testing strategies and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and other testing frameworks.
• Work with Python and Laravel to build and optimize test automation solutions.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git for continuous testing and deployment.
• Ensure high test coverage by designing and executing comprehensive test cases.
• Utilize Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure testing and configuration management.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Conduct performance and security testing to ensure application robustness.
• Work with MySQL for test data management and validation.
• Maintain and improve the QA process, ensuring best practices in software testing.

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of experience in QA Engineering and Test Automation.
• Strong expertise in Selenium, Python, and Laravel for automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git for automation and integration.
• Knowledge of Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation and testing.
• Experience working with MySQL for test data management.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a DevOps environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
