Your role 
 
Looking for Senior Java Developer with experience in design & build utilizing Java/J2EE technology and Solid understanding of Java/J2EE/Spring/Microservice/API development to be able to design, build, test and support them in production.
 
In this role you will play a key role in:

• You will be responsible for delivering microservices that support back-end applications.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the software delivery lifecycle as the organization evolves its technology.
• Develop domain lineage while considering both business and regulatory requirements.
• Use data analytics, data modeling, and strategic data approaches to identify and prevent fraud.
• Exhibit strong stakeholder management skills to communicate with and influence key stakeholders.
• This includes developing and enhancing microservices designed to detect fraudulent activities, analyze transaction patterns, and implement proactive measures to prevent scams.
• Collaborate closely with other teams, such as fraud operations, risk management, and product development, to ensure effective fraud prevention and detection strategies.

Your profile 

• 10+ years of experience Strong expertise and hands-on experience in design & build utilizing Java/J2EE technology
• Solid understanding of Java/J2EE/Spring/Microservice/API development to be able to design, build, test and support them in production.
• Able to demonstrate experience with software engineering practices including CI/CD, Automated testing and Performance Engineering.
• Experience with Agile development methodology.
• Experience working with a distributed version control and source code management tool such as Git.
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Team player, collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
• Zeal to contribute in production support space and enhancements through code fixes where necessary.
• Flexibility in multitasking and able to contribute beyond squad specific allocation.
• Able to bring initiatives and innovations that helps simplify processes and automate monotonous tasks.
• Experience in Financial crime, Fraud or Banking services is good to have.
• Strong engineering skills with a combination of the following
• Experience working with container technologies like Docker, OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Kafka and stream processing
• Expertise with building CI/CD pipelines using terraform, codefresh, Bamboo (or similar)
