DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our cloud infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve our CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS to support application development and deployment.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and ensure rapid delivery of software updates.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across development and production environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers to optimize applications for cloud deployment and scalability.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in the cloud environment, including identity and access management.
• Document processes, architecture, and configurations to enhance team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed about new AWS services and features, evaluating their potential for enhancing our infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role, with a strong emphasis on AWS technologies.
• Proficient in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
• Understanding of system monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Nagios, Prometheus).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
