We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team and work closely with the Director of Cloud Engineering & Cybersecurity. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing security solutions to protect cloud infrastructure, applications, and sensitive data. You will play a key role in threat detection, incident response, compliance, and automation, ensuring the security of our cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps processes.

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team and work closely with the Director of Cloud Engineering & Cybersecurity. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing security solutions to protect cloud infrastructure, applications, and sensitive data. You will play a key role in threat detection, incident response, compliance, and automation, ensuring the security of our cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security best practices across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Secure IAM policies, network security groups, encryption standards, and container security (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Implement zero-trust architectures and cloud-native security controls.
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats using SIEM tools (Splunk, Datadog, Sentinel, etc.).
- Perform log analysis, threat hunting, and incident investigation.
- Collaborate with security teams to mitigate cyber risks and ensure real-time security monitoring.
- Integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate security tasks using Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Implement and manage container security tools (OPA, Falco, Aqua, Prisma).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, CIS Benchmarks.
- Define and enforce security policies and governance models.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or infrastructure security.
- Hands-on experience securing AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Strong knowledge of IAM, firewalls, encryption, network security, and Kubernetes security.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash, or PowerShell for security automation.
- Experience with SIEM solutions, threat intelligence, and incident response.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, CIS, etc.).
- Certifications (nice to have): CISSP, CCSP, AWS/Azure Security, OSCP, CEH.
