Senior Game Tester

EPAM is looking for enthusiastic people to join newly formed Performance playtesting testing team for AAA game platform. Your role will be to facilitate best-in-class gaming experience and fair competitive environment for people across the whole spectrum of players.

Responsibilities:

• Perform playtesting activities of several game titles, which include both well-documented test-case based testing and exploratory-like testing
• Set up consoles and mobile devices for the playtesting session
• Learn how to use required tools to complete daily tasks
• Report found defects
• Complete playtesting questionaries
• Assist junior testers with completing and/or troubleshooting assigned tasks
• Escalate to test lead when appropriate

Must Requirements:

• At least 2 years of software testing experience, 1 year of game testing experience
• Gaming experience: active player of several titles, genres, platforms
• B1+ level of English
• Work from office, starting 9-9:30 AM (UTC -04)
• Ability to join planned weekend overtime shifts, once per quarter
• Create high-quality test cases, plans, bugs and test results reports
• Advanced experience installing and running builds on Consoles/Mobile devices, ability to train others to perform these activities
• Experience in troubleshooting configuration issues for consoles/mobiles
• Experience in training/supervising others
• Advanced knowledge of PC/Windows

Nice to have:

• Can coordinate a workstream of 3-7 Testers in an established project
• Can take testing responsibility for a subsystem in an established project
• ISTQB certification
• Advanced level of Software Quality Control process and SDLC
• Able to follow and enhance a defined Software Quality Control process
