IT Project Manager - Train Planning System TPS (m/f/d)

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our growing software engineering team.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, and manage a Train Planning System (TPS) project while working closely with the product management and development teams.
• Take on the technical leadership of a project team of approximately up to 20 employees.
• Develop project plans and status reports, ensuring efficient resource allocation and task distribution.
• Gather and evaluate customer requirements, translating them into effective software solutions.
• Collaborate with project members to define and coordinate technical requirements.
• Monitor project progress, maintaining a smooth flow of information and ensuring on-time deliveries to teams, customers, and partners.
• Present project results to project sponsors with clarity and confidence.
• Plan and manage the project-related budget, keeping financial goals on track.
  
  

We're looking for someone who has:

• A technical background and experience in managing IT projects. This may include a completed degree, professional experience, a PM certification, or expertise in handling IT projects, ideally in an international project environment.
• Several years of experience in project management, you have led large-scale software projects in the rail transportation sector involving multiple team members.
• Independent, structured, and goal-oriented approach which enables you to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, complemented by experience in customer projects.
• Strong communication skills make you a reliable point of contact for customers, partners, development teams, and company management.
• Fluency in English completes your profile.
