Technical Lead Engineer / Scrum Master – Android Automotive

We are currently looking for a Technical Lead Engineer or Scrum Master to coordinate the successful delivery of our Super-Senior Task Force Team, engaged in a complex Android Automotive platform project.

This role combines technical oversight and agile project coordination. You will act as the main interface between the customer and Piaxo’s internal delivery team, ensuring clarity, execution focus, and continuous alignment with evolving goals.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate a highly experienced Android Automotive development team, aligning effort with customer priorities and project goals.

- Serve as the main point of contact for the customer, facilitating backlog grooming, sprint planning, refinement, and review meetings.

- Define work packages, manage ticket refinement, and track progress across sprint cycles while ensuring delivery is aligned with quality and documentation expectations.

- Support escalated technical topics, enforce code quality standards, and ensure compliance with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and Android compatibility requirements.

- Proactively manage risks, address blockers, and ensure transparency across teams and stakeholders to maintain delivery velocity.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years’ experience in embedded software or Android platform projects, ideally in automotive.

- Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Scrum Master in agile, cross-functional teams.

- Solid understanding of Android Automotive OS, including AOSP, Vehicle HAL, and system-level services.

- Familiarity with automotive protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet) and embedded integration practices.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.

- Hands-on experience with Agile delivery tools: Jira, Confluence, Git, CI/CD pipelines.

- Working knowledge of quality standards such as ASPICE and safety processes like ISO 26262

Nice to have:

- Experience delivering under fixed-price or work-package-based models.

- Background in Android profiling, performance tuning, or CI infrastructure.

- German language skills are a plus, but not required.
