Description

Part of a team building a new product to support legal and business demands concerning claim payment in Volvo Group.

Role: Senior Java Software Engineer

Key responsibilities:

• Agile developer: Excel in test-driven agile development, contributing to the agile practices in my stable team and beyond.

• Design and Architecture: Develop detailed designs of applications and for senior levels the architecture of applications.

• Responsible for the development of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable systems using service-oriented architecture.

• Test: Write and test code and system functions. Refine and rewrite code as necessary and communicate with any team member involved in the stable team. Design and execute test automation, performance, and smoke tests as part of the definition of done. Perform end-to-end integration testing.

• Reuse what others have built: Maximize efficiency and innovation by leveraging existing solutions.

• Don’t overengineer: Simplicity and functionality should guide our engineering decisions which involves striking the perfect balance between robustness and practicality, ensuring our solutions are both scalable and maintainable without overengineering.
