System Engineer

My client, a cybersecurity company, has developed a unique patented technology for Secure BYO-PC. They provide a solution similar to MDM, but for laptops, creating a secure area on the user's PC or Mac that the company controls. In this secure area, all data is encrypted, and access is carefully managed.

They are looking for a System Engineer to join their growing team.

System Engineers provide advanced technical support for our technology stack, ensuring timely resolution or escalation of client issues. This role reports to the Tier 2 Manager.

🌏 Working schedule: hybrid from Palermo, CABA (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)

🗣 Fluent English level: B2+/C1/C2 - (another language skills is a plus).

💰 Salary range: USD 2500 to USD 3500 gross/month.

What you will Do:

• Provide a high level of service in all customer interactions.
• Provide remote user support for Cloud/Citrix based issues.
• Evaluate and handle incoming requests via telephone and ticket queues.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of various technical issues.
• Build rapport with customers, end users, and co-workers.
• Be available for weekly on-call rotation

Your experience:

• 4+ years of experience in a similar position as a System Administrator.
• 2+ years of experience with Citrix.
• 3+ years of exp. in a Support/Service/Systems Administrator role
• 3+ years of exp. with Data Base Engine (SQL server or other)
• 3+ years Customer Service experience
• 2+ years of exp. with thrid-party Application Support Experience
• Mac & Windows Experience

About the position:

• Responsible for the timely resolution and/or escalation of client technical issues.
• Must be highly technical and comfortable handling various server operating systems, Citrix, Terminal
• Services, Exchange, Disaster Recovery, Networking, and local desktop/mobile devices.
• Previous support or escalation role experience, strong understanding of relevant tech concepts, and passion for staying updated in an ever-evolving tech landscape.

Nice to have:

• Certifications AWS, Microsoft, CompTIA, VMWare.
• Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, NTFS.
• Understanding of e-mail routing, filtering, archiving.
