The role:

As the Full Stack Team Lead, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative software solutions that transform meteorological and geospatial data into user-friendly, impactful applications. In this role, you will lead and mentor a motivated team, driving technical excellence, collaboration, and the successful delivery of high-performance, scalable products. You will also play a pivotal role in shaping UBIMET's technology strategy, contributing to projects that are critical to both the industry and environmental sustainability.


What you will be working on:

  • Lead and Mentor: Guide and support the fullstack development team, promoting collaboration and technical excellence.
  • Project Leadership: Plan and execute projects in collaboration with leadership, stakeholders, and other departments.
  • Product Development: Transform complex meteorological and geospatial data into compelling, modern web and mobile applications.
  • Design Scalable Solutions: Design and implement scalable services to make weather data available to the world.
  • Hands-on Development: Actively contribute to coding using technologies like Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
  • Maintain Legacy Systems: Lead the transition from existing PHP applications, ensuring a smooth migration to modern stacks and practices.
  • Encourage Innovation: Promote the use of new technologies and best practices to improve performance and streamline development.


You are a fit if you have:

  • Experience in a lead position and successful implementation of web development projects.
  • Proven experience with Angular, TypeScript and Node.js
  • Strong knowledge of web related technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Experience with Linux (Debian flavors preferred)
  • Strong database (PostgreSQL) skills are a plus
  • English fluency, German is a plus

For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the minimum salary for this position is EUR 70.000,- gross per month. Significant overpayment is possible, depending on qualifications and experience.
