Software Engineer (Python)

We are searching for a software engineer with experience in Python to join the team in Oslo!

As part of a growing SaaS company with 200+ employees, you will be helping to develop platforms for customers to access geographic and demographic data across Norway

You will be joining an innovative technical team who deliver software products tailored for customers – working on tools and services to create visualisations, mapping and information systems, APIs and custom integrations for customers, and seek to provide a modern communication experience for businesses

Your day-to-day can involve:

• Research and development to improve our solutions
• Being responsible for all the stages of the feature development cycle
• Being an active member of the team contributing ideas towards design and improvement
• Working cross-functionally with frontend developers and designers
• Releasing new features
• Peer reviewing, and writing robust, reusable, and testable code.

We are looking for you to bring:

• 3+ years’ experience with backend development
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with SQL/noSQL databases
• Experience with container technology
• Experience with public cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• It is beneficial if you have experience working with geographical/mapping systems, or GIS solutions

Significant experience in one area and compensate for lack of experience in another area
