Lead Cloud Engineer

We are looking for someone to lead our Cloud, DevOps and Database environment in Oslo!

Based in-house, you will be joining an established media company with offices across the Nordics and Europe. You will take part in one of our product teams, but also have counterparts across the business to knowledge-share with

Your role can include:

• Responsibility for the infrastructure, cloud, database and the overall installation and upgrade process for both AWS and on-prem hybrid systems serving millions of customers
• You will be part of the platform and operations team handling high traffic volumes and strict uptime requirements that is also empowered to evolve the platform
• We hope you can bring expertise to advise the business on how to implement long-term strategies in this team
• You will work closely with a team of 7 and take responsibility for the overall technical environment

We are looking for you to bring:

• Experience with public cloud (a willingness to work with AWS)
• Strong knowledge of Linux
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python and automation tools like Ansible
• It is beneficial if you have familiarity with CI/CD and test automation
• Proficiency in both Norwegian and English
