Position Overview

Tromsø municipality is seeking an experienced ERP Integration Consultant (Project Manager) to oversee the implementation of Visma ERP. The consultant will be independently responsible for the execution and success of the project and must demonstrate a clear understanding of how to deliver against the assignment goals, timelines, and deliverables.

This is a consultancy position; applicants must already operate as independent consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Visma ERP integration project according to the agreed implementation schedule.
• Ensure Tromsø municipality’s business requirements and project expectations are met.
• Fulfill contractual obligations with Visma.
• Plan and allocate internal resources to maintain progress and project alignment.
• Coordinate all project-related activities and stakeholders.
• Escalate any deviations that may impact the project timeline or deliverables.
• Monitor, control, and report on project progress.
• Manage change requests efficiently.
• Plan and conduct training sessions for super users.
• Organize and execute user acceptance testing.
• Identify and manage project risks, and coordinate mitigation strategies.
• Oversee all necessary system integrations between Tromsø municipality, Visma, and third-party vendors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience with 2–3 similar ERP implementation projects, preferably involving Visma ERP.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex IT implementations.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of project outcomes.
• Consultant must submit a written project execution plan based on the provided information.
• Must not be employed full-time elsewhere – this role is for an independent consultant.
• Norwegian fluency is mandatory.
