About the Role:

Job Title: Senior Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Node.js.
• Work primarily in customer agent servicing-related areas.
• Utilize Spring Boot for microservices development.
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Engage with AWS services, though usage will be limited.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Java.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js).
• Strong experience with Spring Boot.
• Hands-on API development experience.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Python.
• Familiarity with AWS services.

Location: Hybrid in Mclean, VA

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $110,000 – $115,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
