Backend Developer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Backend Developer in Juno Beach, FL. Responsibilities:

• Backend Developer will design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• As a Backend Developer, you will identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  
  

Requirements

• Experience working in distributed event-driven systems
• Experience with AWS services
• Experience designing and maintaining API contracts
• Experience in integrating with 3rd party applications
• AWS Lambda, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, S3, SNS/SQS
• Strong ability to understand and model business processes
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience working in financial/trade-related applications
• Proficiency in Python, Typescript, shell scripting
• Proficiency in Java is a plus, but a strong grasp of software engineering principles matters more
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
