Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Service Desk Command Center Applications Specialist Manager to oversee manage and optimize application related incidents and operations within the command center This role ensures the availability and performance of critical applications provides expert level support to the service desk team and proactively resolves application issues The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT service management application monitoring tools and incident resolution processes
Key Responsibilities
1 Application Monitoring and Incident Management
Monitor the health availability and performance of business-critical applications using monitoring tools eg AppDynamics Dynatrace New Relic
Identify prioritize and resolve application related incidents in real time
Collaborate with application development and operations teams to address recurring issues
2 Escalation and Coordination
Act as the primary escalation point for application related issues within the command center
Work with application owners third party vendors and IT teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents
Coordinate root cause analysis RCA and post incident reviews for application outages
3 Service Desk Support
Provide expert level support and training to service desk agents for application related queries
Ensure that service desk workflows align with application incident management processes
Develop knowledge base articles and FAQs to improve first call resolution rates
4 Proactive Maintenance and Optimization
Perform regular audits of application health and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime
Suggest and implement enhancements to monitoring tools and alert configurations
Participate in application deployment and release management to ensure smooth rollouts
5 Reporting and Documentation
Generate application performance and incident reports including SLA adherence and trends
Maintain up to date documentation for application monitoring escalation paths and SOPs
Create dashboards for real time application status and key performance indicators KPIs
6 Compliance and Governance
Ensure all application monitoring and management processes comply with organizational policies and regulatory standards
Conduct regular reviews of application access controls and permissions

This position is required for shift assistant engineer to perform 24x7 command center duties
I This role shall perform our command center work activities involving monitoring of all 24x7 critical systems operation for all incoming request from customer and perform emergency escalation and reporting management
II Work requires strong formal conduct of operations skills technical expertise personal accountability and flawless execution of work activities commensurate with a highly critical environment and associated expectations for exceptional customer satisfaction and confidence
