Job Title – Project Manager

Location- Melbourne


We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager with a proven track record in the Utilities business domain. The ideal candidate will excel in regulatory compliance, operational best practices, and managing high-value projects across energy and utilities platforms. This role demands a balance of technical acumen, leadership, and the ability to deliver complex business solutions both on-premise and cloud-based.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive efficient delivery and customer satisfaction by coordinating efforts across project coordinators, vendors, and clients.
  • Manage projects involving core utilities distribution business processes including meter data managements, settlements, CRM, sales, and service to ensure seamless process execution.
  • Lead projects involving energy distribution, SAP platforms, cloud transitions, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Create, document, and manage project plans using tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Ensure successful deployment of enterprise-class applications and business processes with adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable product specifications and features.


Must Have Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of utilities domain, including regulatory compliance, industry standards, and operational strategies.
  • 10+ years of experience in core energy and utilities processes, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in project scoping, planning, budgeting, and delivery management.
  • Expertise in RAID management, stakeholder liaison (internal and external), and vendor/supplier management.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies for project execution.
  • Mastery of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong analytical skills for business case preparation, P&L analysis, and integration management.


Good-to-Have Skills and Competencies

  • Knowledge of statement of work preparation and estimation management.
  • Familiarity with financial management, release and environment planning, and technology transformation.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Relevant certifications in Project Management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum).
