As a Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will work on cutting-edge projects and collaborate with a team of talented engineers to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will impact the development of innovative software solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and safety in various industries. You will have the opportunity to work on projects that have a global impact and contribute to the success of our customers. Your main responsibilities are:

  • Work directly with customers to gather and document requirements
  • Develop and maintain Honeywell Voice and software solutions according to customer requirements and internal processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software features
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues
  • Opportunities to participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Work closely with sales teams to build Proof-of-concept applications and build

You Must Have

  • Fluent/native German language speaker.
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in structured and object-oriented programming languages in C# , Java and SQL.
  • Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines
  • Ability to travel up to 50% Europe, based on project specific assignments

WE VALUE

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with web development frameworks and technologies
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Additional Requirements

  • Comfortable participating in multiple projects as either a Software Developer, Software Test Engineer, or Delivery Consultant
  • Ability to interface with internal and external customers in a high-energy environment
  • Work within a global team environment handling several concurrent tasks
  • Meet scheduled milestones and take ownership of previously existing software solutions
