AI Futures has been exclusively retained to search for a world class AI Machine Learning Engineer in Cologne.

They are a VC backed mittlestand Fintech company, who are revolutionizing optimisation processes with the help of modern AI technologies for the banking, insurance and financial industries. They have recently received funding of over €5 million, and are looking for strong technical individuals, with an entrepreneurial mindset to join the team.

The Role:

• Develop and optimize AI and machine learning models, including LLMs and deep learning techniques, to enhance automation and decision-making.
• Lead collaborative AI projects, working with data scientists, engineers, and business teams to drive innovation.
• Integrate AI solutions into core systems, improving efficiency and streamlining operations.
• Become part of a highly skilled and collaborative team, where knowledge sharing is an essential part of the equation.

The Candidate:

• 3+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer
• Masters background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or similar
• Expert knowledge of Python and Relational databases (SQL)
• Recent experience working in a cloud environment e.g AWS, Azure or GCP (AWS preferred)
• Knowledge of LLMs and RAG a bonus
• Hybrid working environment (2 days onsite in Cologne a week)
• Fluency in German and English

Fixed salary up to €100K.
