We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the field of design.

What awaits you?

• In your internship you will support our team in UX/UI design during the various development phases. - You will work at the interface between design and UX development.
• Here, you will accompany us in the implementation of innovative user interfaces for the upcoming vehicle generations as early experienceable simulations.
• In addition, you will work closely with the development teams in other departments, such as design, software development, usability, as well as electrical and electronics.
• You will be involved in the conceptualization, ideation, and wireframing of new operating concepts.
• Your exciting scope of tasks will also include participating in the coordination and optimization of mockups (HW&SW).
  
  
  

What should you bring along?

• Studies in interaction design, media informatics, computer science, engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable degree program.
• Initial practical experience in building UI simulations in Figma, Adobe XD, Protopie, or similar tools.
• Experience in game engines like UNREAL or UNITY - Initial practical experience in the development of Arduino-based projects, and, ideally, initial practical experience with scripting languages such as Python, MEL, or JScript.
• Basic understanding of design language systems.
• Knowledge of working with sensors (touch, camera, IR, piezo).
• Proficient use of the Adobe Creative Suite (Aftereffects, Photoshop).
• Fluent in English, German basics beneficial.
