Technical Support Engineer - UX

- Salary: €40,000 - €48,000 / annum pro rata doe
- Location: Hybrid - Dublin office

This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Engineer - UX to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. If you have strong problem-solving skills, expertise in UI development, and experience with debugging Java and JavaScript, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, troubleshooting issues related to UI development, platform functionalities, and application performance.
- Analyze and resolve customer cases via web, chat, email, case updates, and direct telephone support.
- Utilize browser developer tools to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of customer cases.
- Identify opportunities for process and product improvements based on customer feedback and technical investigations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- UI development or support experience.
- Proficiency in two or more of the following: CSS, AJAX, ReactJS, GraphQL, AngularJS, Mobile application development.
- Strong debugging skills in Java and JavaScript (writing JavaScript is a plus).
- Experience troubleshooting cloud/web applications.
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell.
- Experience using Linux/Unix or Microsoft Server environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Customer-first mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow development and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience with Eclipse, Splunk, Xcode, Android Studio, SauceLabs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
