Task Responsibilities:

Will you soon obtain your degree and are you ready to launch your career in the aviation industry? Do you have a passion for interdisciplinary thinking to understand complex issues of a global airline? Are you ready to take on various challenges and navigate the dynamic world of air cargo? Then we have good news for you!

After a successful pilot program, Cargolux Airlines is excited to launch the second edition of the Graduate Program staring October 1 st 2025! This two-year rotational program is designed to provide recent graduates with hands-on experience around a specific theme within the complex air cargo business. Within these two years, you will rotate every six months into four different teams that tackle a key business objective, allowing you to gain an understanding of a complex topic from various perspectives. For the next launch, you can choose a thematic rotation amongst the following topics:

• Operational Excellence: Focusing on optimizing our operations from logistics, through sales, maintenance, and more, to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Those could be process-improvement initiatives, performance metric analyses, or implementation of best practices.
• Safety: As a top priority in aviation, safety is an essential part of our operations: from safety audits in our flight or ground operations, to trainings or risk management initiatives.
• Sustainability: Dedicated to our commitment to environmental responsibility, this theme is related to the implementation of sustainable practices and the reporting on our sustainability objectives - be it how we fly, how are facilities are organized or which regulations we comply with.
• Talent Management: All our employees are considered as talent and this rotation would focus on the elements of talent and leadership development coupled with change management activities.
• Digitalization, Data Accuracy, & AI: Embracing the future of technology by leveraging digital tools and exploring applications of artificial intelligence to drive innovation and efficiency.

Essential Requirements For The Position:

• Recently graduated from a Master’s Degree in a related field
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Strategic and interdisciplinary thinking
• Strong adaptability skills
• Genuine interest in the aviation, logistics, or transport industry
• Your cover letter should be an essay revolving around one of the Graduate Program themes
  
  

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, temporary position for 24 months based in our Luxembourg Headquarters
• Flexibility in working hours is required, depending on your rotation
• Occasional travel might be required, depending on your rotation
• A Certificate of Good Conduct (Casier Judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
