Software Engineer (Full remote)

Astek is looking for a Software Engineer to cooperate with our leading partner in the B2B IT travel sector in an international environment.

• Apply basic coding skills (e.g., Python) to customize backend features and enhance functionality.
• Design and evolve creative, user-friendly dashboards and visualizations using ABACUS out-of-the-box capabilities and Power BI.
• Develop comprehensive user guides and know-how documentation using tools like Confluence to support team adoption and usage.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the tool aligns with business objectives and delivers actionable insights.
• Develop and test basic scripts to enhance backend functionality.
• Design and refine out-of-the-box dashboards and create advanced visualizations in Power BI.
• Write and maintain user guides and documentation in Confluence, capturing tool processes and best practices.
• Collaborate with the team to identify requirements and propose tool enhancements.

👀 Who are you?

• Someone with a good attitude, willing to learn and a good team player.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, present ideas clearly, and document processes effectively.
• Appetite for learning new tools and technologies quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
• 4-5 years in a technical role (e.g., consulting, IT, or development), with exposure to enterprise tools, data visualization, or system configuration.
• ABACUS experience is an advantage but is not mandatory or essential
• Someone with Python skills for back end customization and function development is very interesting.
• A high level of English and Spanish is very important.
