Job Description

We are looking for a data science with proven abilities in one of the following:

• Machine Learning
• Artificial Neural Networks
• Computer Vision
  
  

As a data science intern at Data&Data, your responsibilities could include:

• Fine-tuning our current classification algorithms.
• Researching and implementing new machine learning algorithms.
• Applying computer vision and deep learning algorithms for image classification.
• Extracting metrics from our database for both internal use and client reports.
• Contributing to the data pipeline, collecting & wrangling data.
• Designing algorithms extracting information from data.

You

Preferred Experience

• Are a student in your final year or recent graduate.
• Can collect, extract and analyze data using Python/R/SQL.
• Can present the results of your analysis in a compelling way.
• Are driven, with strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Are well rounded, proactive, can multitask and deliver top-notch results on time.
• Are conversational in French and/or English, Python, and Unix.
  
  

Bonus Skills

• Working on production-grade projects.
• Cloud or GPU based computing.
• Big data/cloud technology and best practices (Hadoop, MS Azure, etc.).
• Previous startup experience or working within an agile framework.
• Fluency in a language other than English or French (East Asian languages in particular).
• Mad foosball or table tennis skills (tables pending) and a good sense of humor.
