Job role

In the Senior Actuary role, you will work as a member of the Actuarial Service Center working part of the team within Allianz Group Center GA (Group Actuarial).

The Actuarial Service Center has the largest team of actuaries on the Romanian market with young, motivated and passionate professionals that turn the unpredictable into predictable.

The Actuarial Service Center offers consulting support to various insurance companies from the Allianz world who act as customers, therefore proving financial expertise in the Allianz world by:

• Analyzing, optimizing and creating financial models that form the basis of insurance products;
• Providing thorough analyses of complex data;
• Performing data analytics.
  
  

What You Will Do

• Reviewing P&C reserving of Allianz operating entities;
• Reviewing, consolidating and reporting actuarial figures at Group level;
• Developing, validating and maintaining group reports for Allianz operating entities;
• Driving technical excellence in the actuarial area;
• Support the team in developing and maintaining reporting processes.
  
  

What You Bring

• 8 years of relevant work experience;
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences or related subjects;
• Advanced level in Excel ;
• Fluent in English; German is a plus;
• MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Access and PowerPoint skills;
• Programming skills; in particular VBA, SAS or SQL are a plus;
• Good progress with the actuarial exams.
