We are now looking for a Project Manager to the DeLaval Project Management Office (PMO).

Purpose Of Role And Key Responsibilities

In our PMO, we are in total about 30 skilled and experienced project managers with 20 of us located in Tumba. We collaborate closely together and the whole team is actively engaged in our work to further improve our project and portfolio ways of working and to achieve One PMO.

Your role will be to ensure the efficient and cross-functional management of DeLaval projects and assignments on new product development, product maintenance, and quality.

  • Project and Program execution - Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the project, while efficiently managing dependencies and risk efficiently.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration - Build efficient program and project teams, provide direction, and fostering open communication to achieve objectives efficiently.
  • Stakeholder management - Manage relationships and communications with stakeholders, including upper management, product management, IT, engineering, supply chain, and market, ensuring transparency and involvement.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in managing development projects within a product development environment.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering (MSc) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, combined with the ability to adapt to hybrid approaches incorporating a more traditional waterfall model.
  • Experience in developing large, complex systems that integrate both hardware and software components is beneficial.

As a person, you are driven and well-structured at both operational and strategic levels, with a strong customer focus. You are humble, collaborative, and a very good communicator. Your problem-solving skills and experience in intercultural collaboration enable you to work seamlessly across diverse teams at all levels and functions within an organization.

Additional Information

This is a full-time permanent position based at DeLaval’s headquarters in Tumba, south of Stockholm. We offer a hybrid workplace model, allowing flexibility to work remotely. The position will be part of the Division Product Development and will report to the Swedish PMO Manager of Product Development. Travel will be part of this position.
