We, as Plan-S, are Turkey's largest private initiative in satellite and space technologies. With the aim of building the best team, being the bravest and most visionary, we are located in the most amazing location of the city, at the hearth of R&D.

We design and build small satellites for low-earth orbit, geostationary satellites, and even small spacecrafts for the moon and beyond. We offer our customers end-to-end satellite as a service solutions.

  • Build and maintain service-oriented applications based on business requirements, with a primary focus on web application backends—but be ready to work on frontends or console/desktop apps as needed,
  • Write maintainable, testable code following best practices and design principles,
  • Develop synchronous REST APIs and asynchronous messaging or queue-based systems to facilitate reliable and scalable communication,
  • Work closely with team members to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries in an agile environment,
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain code quality,
  • Create and maintain documentation for software designs and interface protocols


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field,
  • At least 4 years of professional software development,
  • Proficiency in one or more high-level programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, etc.),
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and software architecture principles (SOLID, DDD, Clean, Onion, Event-Driven),
  • Proven experience in designing and maintaining microservices architectures,
  • Experienced in creating robust RESTful APIs,
  • Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, MQTT),
  • Knowledge in implementing authentication and security features (e.g., JWT, Keycloak, OAuth2),
  • Proficient in designing and querying relational (PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases,
  • Basic knowledge of React (or similar JavaScript frameworks),
  • Experience with tools such as Redis, Elasticsearch, etc.,
  • Comfortable working with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms,
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines

Nice To Have

  • Proficiency in either .NET Entity Framework and/or Java Spring,
  • Experience with IoT applications and LoRaWAN solutions,
  • Experience with Satellite Communication Systems and Ground Segment Operations,
  • Familiarity with space systems data concepts (XTCE, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes
