Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in Independent Price Verification (IPV) to support critical valuation and pricing initiatives within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial products, valuation methodologies, and regulatory requirements, combined with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the IPV team to analyze and enhance price verification processes across a range of asset classes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Work closely with valuation experts to assess and refine models and methodologies for fair value determination of financial instruments.
• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements for IPV-related enhancements and system upgrades.
• nalyze large datasets to support IPV processes, identify discrepancies, and propose solutions to improve data integrity and efficiency.
• Act as a bridge between IPV, Risk, Product Control, and IT teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Ensure all IPV processes adhere to relevant regulatory requirements, such as IFRS 13, FRTB, and other valuation-related standards.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline IPV workflows, reducing operational risk and increasing efficiency.
• Develop detailed documentation, including business requirements, workflows, process maps, and test cases.
• Assist in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation phases to ensure solutions meet business needs and function as intended.
  
  

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry.
• Hands-on experience with Independent Price Verification processes.
• Strong understanding of financial products (e.g., derivatives, fixed income, equities) and valuation techniques.
• Familiarity with pricing tools, market data sources (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters), and valuation systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or similar.
• Knowledge of IPV frameworks, market risk, and regulatory standards impacting valuations.
• Familiarity with FRTB and IFRS 13 requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent are a plus.
