The Client is a major Norwegian Operator principally focusing on the life extension of existing fields whilst encouraging the drive toward low- and no-emission production.

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead modification projects. In the role, you will be responsible for leading activities and personnel within the modification project and across projects through all necessary phases from early study phase, concept selection, detailing, execution, handover, and finalization. You will also be responsible for ensuring good follow-up of offshore during installation, system testing and at start-up and handover.

As a minimum, you are expected to:

• Lead activities and personnel within the modification project and across projects through all necessary phases: early study phase, concept selection, detailing, execution, handover and finalization
• Prepare internal documentation
• Ensure proper resource allocation to the project
• Communicating the project's needs, for example, into the planning process
• To ensure the necessary involvement and follow-up of collaboration partners and contractors defined in the project
• To run projects using "agile" project methodology in the early phase
• Responsible for looking after and handling several support roles in a project organization
• Report status to the modification portfolio manager
• Contribute to continuous improvement
• Ensure the right focus on HSE and quality
• Ensure good follow-up of offshore during installation, system testing and at start-up and handover.

About You

The perfect candidate will have:

• A higher technical education such as a Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant engineering subject
• A minimum of 5 years' experience within the oil and gas industry
• Good commercial and contractual experience and understanding
• Project manager experience
• Fluent Norwegian and English skills
