Our vision is clear: to create a smarter, safer world by harnessing the power of AI, robotics, and emerging technologies. To accelerate this transformation, we’re hiring a VP, Strategic Partner Development — a pivotal leadership role at the forefront of robotics, AI innovation, and technology ecosystem growth.

This role is ideal for a leader with a strong track record in strategic partnerships, who thrives at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and public sector engagement. You’ll lead high-impact initiatives spanning technology investments, partner ecosystems, government collaboration, and industry thought leadership — elevating Certis’ position as a trusted innovation authority in security tech.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy and execution of developing new and existing strategic partnerships with a focus on robotics technologies, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships with key industry players.
  • Oversee and manage multiple partnership tiers, ensuring that partners are effectively categorized, supported, and nurtured to achieve long-term strategic goals.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align partner development strategies with business goals, driving innovation, and creating new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners and stakeholders. Act as the main point of contact for escalations, negotiations, and the resolution of any partnership-related issues.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities and explore potential areas of growth within the robotics ecosystem, aligning new partner development with market trends and organizational priorities.
  • Advocate for strategic partners internally, ensuring their needs and interests are understood, while promoting partner success stories, use cases, and product integrations.
  • Lead negotiations, manage contracts, and ensure the terms of partnerships are aligned with business objectives and industry standards.
  • Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success and performance of partnerships, regularly assessing partner contributions to business goals.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitive dynamics, and new developments in robotics, providing insights to internal stakeholders and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 12-15 years of experience in business development, partner management, or strategic alliances, with a focus on robotics or technology partnerships.
  • In-depth understanding of the robotics ecosystem, with the ability to assess and select partners that align with strategic business goals.
  • Proven experience in managing multi-tiered partnerships and successfully elevating partners to higher levels of collaboration and integration.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and advocate for partners within the organization.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on both short-term and long-term business outcomes.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams to align on partnership strategies and ensure seamless execution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with C-suite executives, partner leaders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage complex partnerships and navigate challenges with partners effectively.
  • Strong understanding of the competitive landscape in the robotics industry and emerging market trends.
