Software Engineer II, Gen AI, YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 1 year of experience implementing core machine learning concepts.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with machine learning algorithms and tools, genAI or deep learning.
• Experience in software development, architecture and deploying systems.
• Experience in Agile/Lean methodologies.
• Ability to think of new creative approaches to problems and help our users.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to designing and implementing scalable, robust and flexible GenAI systems end-to-end.
• Analyze and dive-deep into model prompting/training and serving performance to find areas of efficiency while making sure quality is the best it can be.
