New Android Engineer contract role - $900 PD - Sydney

A new 6 month contract for a senior android engineer in Sydney

This business are a leading media business (not an agency) with a software dev team of about 25 engineers. Their mobile apps team (5 devs in total) deliver apps across iOS, Android, phones & tablets for some leading magazines & films. Pretty cool stuff!

Building on their recent, success they're embarking on exciting new projects to reinvent and rejuvenate the mobile experience across several products in their portfolio.

We do not need a tech lead. This is probably 90% hands on, ideal for a Java engineer whose made the move into mobile and been working with Android for the past 5 years+

The wish list;

- High-level execution and contributions to several projects in Kotlin using modern technologies - Flow/Coroutines or RxJava, Hilt DI, Multi-module app, Compose

- Strong mobile user interface design skills with a focus on optimal performance across devices including Phone and Tablets

- Good understanding of Object-oriented design, SOLID principles and Architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Reactive Patterns)

- Solid Unit and UI Test Automation experience with JUnit/Espresso along with Mocking
