About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive automation, efficiency, and reliability across our infrastructure. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure management, and enhance observability while working with cutting-edge cloud and on-prem technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of system administrators and developers to automate tools and infrastructure, increasing efficiency and self-service capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment consistency using tools like Git, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
  • Automate infrastructure management and configuration using Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Leverage scripting languages such as Python (must-have), Perl, PowerShell, or Bash to automate workflows, integrate systems, and enable self-healing infrastructure.
  • Architect and develop automated monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Nagios, Splunk, Datadog, and Grafana.
  • Support and maintain hybrid cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Work with Cisco InterSight and Cisco UCS for infrastructure management and configuration.
  • Support system administration tasks across VMware, Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu), and Windows environments, including patching and updates via Ansible.
  • Research and identify products that enhance ease of management, operations, and scaling.
  • Participate in on-call rotation, providing reliable support for production issues.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior DevOps engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in scripting and automation, with strong proficiency in Python.
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Vault) and infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef).
  • Expertise in managing hybrid cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with VMware administration and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of networking concepts, device configurations, and security best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working with monitoring, observability, and alerting systems such as Nagios, Splunk, Datadog, and Grafana.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in english.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Cisco InterSight and Cisco UCS.
  • Familiarity with storage platforms like Pure Storage.
  • Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions like Okta, Active Directory (AD), SSO, OAuth, and SAML.
  • Experience with logging pipelines and dashboard generation.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and Mac OS administration.
  • Background in security best practices and governance in cloud environments.
